EXPLORATION AND OPERATING LICENCES

Turkish Government declared new regulations and offers incentives to boost geothermal energy production. Exploration Licenses are granted by the Ministry of Energy for 3 years with 1-year extensions and Operating Licenses are granted with a 30-year initial operation period and extendable for 10-year intervals thereafter.

High Potential Geothermal Concessions

Energy Holding, initially obtained 50 geothermal exploration licenses. After performing very detailed geological, geochemical and geophysical analysis over these 50 licenses, only the ones having high geothermal energy potential are retained and further studies conducted over them.
